MADELINE GIBSON (1996. SLC, UTAH)
Began painting at nine years old when she was placed in an oil painting class while living in Monterrey, Mexico. Madeline has continued to make and study art throughout her life. Madeline has been featured in over twenty art shows, two of which she curated also. She currently works in a collaborative studio in Salt Lake City, Utah where she continues to produce paintings that reflect her exploration and understanding of connection, as well as images of nature and the peace felt in those spaces. Madeline is primarily an oil painter and printmaker, but likes to incorporate woodworking, weaving and leatherworking into her practice as well.
